Face of Kashmir Pahalgam

Pahalgam is a town and beautiful area of district Anantnag.It is a popular place for the tourists and every year tourists visit Pahalgam.The town of phalgam offers breathtaking views.Any one can just relax in one of the hotels in Phalgam, or trek on some of the many mountains.Snow is the main attraction in the winter months.Their is another place of kolohoi glacier,situated up the lidder (river) vally,just below mount kolohoi, it is currently a hanging glacier.Wild bears roam much of the area, and local villagers are on constant alert for the presence of bears.Due to the constant threat of illegal border crossings,It saved the bears from being hunted to extinction. Monkeys are also their and they are quiet and shy,but given an opportunity they can steal food from visitors.
